Dear Rock Springs Families,

It is with great excitement and gratitude that I welcome you to the 2026-2027 school year! As I begin my fourth year as principal of Rock Springs Elementary, I continue to be inspired by the incredible students, families, and staff who make our school such a special place. It is truly an honor to serve this community, and I remain committed to ensuring that every child feels known, valued, challenged, and supported in a safe and engaging learning environment.

Each new school year brings fresh opportunities to learn, grow, and celebrate success together. I am excited to partner with our dedicated staff and supportive families as we help every student reach their fullest potential.

This year, we proudly embrace our district theme, Focus Forward, while bringing it to life at Rock Springs through our school-wide theme, The Magical Yet. Together, these themes remind us that growth is a journey and that success is built through perseverance, determination, and a belief in what is possible. We want our students to understand that while they may not have mastered a skill yet, every challenge presents an opportunity to learn, improve, and move closer to their goals.

Throughout the year, we will encourage students to set meaningful goals, take ownership of their learning, and celebrate progress along the way. By fostering a growth mindset and nurturing resilience, we will empower our students to become confident learners, problem-solvers, and leaders both inside and outside the classroom.

At Rock Springs, we know that strong partnerships between school and home are essential to student success. When families and educators work together, we create a foundation of trust, encouragement, and support that allows children to thrive. I look forward to continuing our partnership and invite you to stay connected through school events, volunteer opportunities, and regular communication throughout the year.
